Really? Too bad. My experience w/ Bruzelius was fine. I might even say good, considering that I was trying to go abroad with absolutely no advisorial support and therefore didn't know about half the paperwork until a week before the deadline. She tried to convince me that I wanted to go to Mexico instead of Spain (I didn't. I could walk to Mexico, if I wanted, and it wouldn't cost that much after I got there. Spain is a country that I would probably judge to be too expensive to spend any significant length of time in if someone else weren't paying for lots of it). But aside from the Mexico thing, she was very helpful, despite the weird resemblance to Umbridge.
Huh! Fair enough. She was deeply unpleasant and unhelpful to me a couple of times, and she actually made me (and several of my friends) cry at various times.
I met with Erika Laquer only once, after I returned to Smith from the psych ward. She was fairly supportive; she made one joke that I found a little inappropriate, but then again I'm quite sensitive. Overall, though, Laquer was fine, and I've heard generally positive things from some of my friends.
