I'm going to say yes but I'm not entirely convinced. I went to your graphics journal to have a better look and while I really like some of the icons (this and this) I think some of your coloring is a bit dark and murky (this and this).
But I think that being a member of the community and participating in these challenges will allow you to stretch your creative muscles and improve, so I'll say yes. I love your cropping - it's interesting, but in the best way - and your texture use. I think it's just your coloring that needs some work.

I must agree with the point about the colouring. Your icons could need some more colour sometimes (not everytime, because I really love #4 and #8). Some icons look very soft (#6, #9) which looks really good. I love your cropping.
