OU AND OCU ROCK!!!!!!!!!
DUDE! I'm physced man, I went to OU and OCU today and man they were both great campuses and musical theatre programs.
Oklahoma University (OU)- They only take 50 people all year and next year they will take six frehsman girls and six freshman guys in. They have two musicals a year and you train in classes for around 6 to 7 hours a day and after 700 you get rehearsal time for four hours. MAN THATS SWEET! And when I was waiting to talk to the head of the department and his assisstant, I was looking at a picture board and I looked under Cabaret group. And I saw a face I hadn't seen since my freshamn year and off and on this year, EVIE MERRYMAN! Heha it was really weird then I remembered she went to OU and was in that department, and I told them I went to Bowie High School and they were like oh yeah we have 3 people from there in our department for next year. And since they only have 50 people it will be harder to get into so I'm ready ofr the challenge if I get the chance to audition for them.
Oklahoma City University- This is considered won of the top five musical theatre programs in the nation at a university, and MAN THE CAMPUS WAS NICE! ONLY 3800 STUDENTS! The campus was so confined I loved it! And they have Broadway professionals as proffessors to help you along there, and they said that tons of grammy, emmy, and tony award winning performers have come to their college.
SO TWO GREAT SCHOOLS, and now I have two tough auditions ahead of me. I have to audition for OU at TETA and SWTA if I get selected to go. And then I'm going up to OCU again in November to audition for their department. IM SO FREAKIN' EXCITED!!!!!!!!!
