SPRING BREAK!
So, today is my official last day of classes before spring break - - - and you know what that means??
CALIFORNIA HERE I COME!!!
I can't wait to be warm haha - my suitemate dustin, our friend brandon, and i are going there to stay with dustin's family - spend a day in vegas, l.a., a couple in mexico - gonna be one hell of a time. But I am catching a red-eye back friday night - - - and then pass out all day saturday.
Class is fine for the most part - and the demo is coming along pretty well. I gave a copy of what i had so far to a couple managers/producers in the business as well as to the girls of the band Huckapoo - - - that's right folks check it out - www.huckapoo.com - - - - hopefully they'll have some suggestions for me or something cool like that.
OK I want all of you to right this minute check out the band Blackfield at www.blackfield.org - - - it's a collaboration between a british singer-songwriter and an israeli one - they are incredible. I saw them last night at the Canal Room. See, Jordan Rudess - the keyboardist from Dream Theater, the best keyboardist in the WORLD, and my personal idol - was playing with them last night since he's friends with them and some of the band couldn't get visas to come into the U.S. - anyway they were great - he was of course phenomenal - and the music is fantastic. . . so go listen to some of there stuff!
To all of the kids in Godspell next weekend - break legs!
