Wonderful weekend!

Todd, Periwinkel, & myself had a fun weekend! On Sat. my Parents & I drove around Sheboygan to show Todd "the sites". Hhhhhmmmm, that makes it sound like Sheboygan has a ton of things to look at...they SOOO don't. O.k. grab your tissues, the next part just might bring a tear to your eyes..... The cool part of that was when we drove past a house that we lived in years ago,( can you start to feel the heart strings getting tugged?) & we saw the size of a tree that my Dad & I planted.( start the mushy music & the slow motion ) My Dad got that tree mailed to him as some sorta promotional thingy for his job, & it was the size of a tiny seedling. Feel free to take a moment to collect yourself before you continue reading. So yeah, that was totaly cool...for my Dad & I anyway. Sunday my Aunt Tootie ( her real name is Corita, but I've always known her as Tootie & cant remember how or why she got that name) , Berta, Robbie, & David came over to my Parents house for dinner, & we all had a blast. Tootie is 80 years old & a real spit fire! Her & Todd kept playing jokes on each other, it was a fricken hoot. Sunday night my Parents & Todd & I got the movie Bringing Down the House, & it was super funny! We give it a harty thumbs up! Monday Todd & I were in the car a total of 8 hours!!!! It takes 2 hours to drive from Sheboygan to Madison, & when we got to Madison, we had to take John & Nancy to the Chicago airport, & that is a 3 hour drive one way. OIY! So here is where we got sneaky! I called my Boss from the car phone on the way from Sheboygan to Madison & said we were having car problems & wouldn't make it back to Madison until late in the day on Tuesday. hee hee hee. So Todd & I had a play day on Tuesday. We got up late, went to Starbucks, did some running around, got a movie & spent the day at home in our jammies! We watched Dreamcatchers, by Steven King & it was uber gorey! Did anyone see this movie??? If ya did, what the hell does SSDD stand for?!?!?! They never once say what its for! We even watched the special featers part & THEY didn't even tell us. Sheeesh!
