This weekend was wicked busy.  Had an audition Friday at 2.  Left directly from there to drive to PHX at 3.  Traffic + rain = extra 2 hours on my trip.  Got to AZ late Friday night.  Went directly to bed: did not pass go, did not collect $200.  Slept in a strange, yet comfy bed at my sister's.  Woke up too early...not enough sleep but too much light.  Got toes done.  Visited Olympia for a wax.  Bought foundation at Sephora (same stuff
seeshellirun reviewed (but not with her review in mind--just happened to get the same stuff)).  Got ready.  Picked up by Dolphin Girl.  Went to Casa Grande.

HAGRID GOT MARRIED!!!

Came back to PHX (left reception early), went to sleep after Lindsay left with group of friends (4 petite blondes who clearly liked to party--shots all around) for a night out.  Got up at 7.  On road by 7:45.  Back in LA by 12:45 (gained an hour going back).  20 minute nap, then got ready for night.  Went to iO to photograph an Oscar party for a couple of hours. (note to self: learn all of cool functions on camera).  Left there for my first official improv performance in LA.  Feelings hurt by roommate who decided to watch the Oscars instead (which we were TAPING!)  Other friends showed up: Chris, Stefanie, Buol, zha, Jil With One L!

The show was pretty good.  We had to do two sets b/c we were hoping to go on with another troupe, but that didn't work out so much.  The first set was much better than the second, but even the second set was okay (especially compared to some crap I've seen).  I, personally, was really happy with my performance (though, moreso in the first set).  I was glad Mike got to see a show before he moved back home.  After show, 7 people total went to Mel's Diner.  YUM!  Went back and forth between two tables.

When Mike, Stef, and Chris left, we all hugged and said goodbye.  Except Mike and I didn't say anything, just hugged.  I was really sad.  We had our farewell day last week and goodbyes were said, but last night was probably the last time I'll see him until either he comes to visit here (which will most likely happen at least once), or I go back home (which probably isn't going to happen this year).  I'm sad now just thinking about it.  He's been such a big part of my life the past year and a half.  Oh well.  Nothing can be done about that.  I'm glad we got to hang out as much as we did.  I'm glad he was my surfing buddy last summer.  I'm glad I really got to know him.

On to happier things...This week is my last L3 class.  (well, I suppose that's sad, seeing as I LOVE SHULIE WITH ALL MY HEART AND SOUL!!!)  L4 with Eric Hunicutt starts March 8.  We have 4 performances this session.  Hooray!!  I'm also taking Dave Hill's Character Workshop (which I paid for at PIF 5--I even drove him there, as I was his Den Mom--but which I never attended b/c I hadn't yet slept).  Redacted has our second show on March 30th, along with my second L4 show the same night/same theater.

This Thursday I'm taking another casting director workshop.  I will be officially switched over to my agent next Friday.  So, although I am busy as per usual, I'm really excited about the happenings in my life.  Hooray for that!
