I had an amazing lunch today at Cuba Linda (10841 Q St.). As far as I know, it is the only Cuban restaurant in Omaha. I had a meal of shredded beef, rice, black beans, and fried green plantains. I can't wait to go back. So good.

Did you happen to notice if they had any vegetarian options?

all of the combo meals were meat-based, but the beans at least didn't have any visible chunks of meat. you could easily get rice, beans, plantain, and yuca and have a good meal.

i wouldn't be surprised if you liked the cuban sandwich, or are you opposed to pork products?

It would be hard to be a proper BBQ fan and oppose pork products. So no. Love it. I just had to run with the yucca comment.

you can count on the beans having some form of pork fat in them, though, unless they say otherwise. Swine is delish.
