Yay for playing hookie from work on Saturday and livin' it up at the race track with Jim Petosa. I came with 40 dollars, conquered, bought a hot dog, chips and a soda, two Jack and Cokes and an entrance fee to grandstand level and still left with 25 bucks and 10 centavos Mexicanos! I guess that means I did some winning. I can pick those ponies but I have not the balls to bet more than two dollars. Then it's always fun to get lost on the way home in Rainier Beach--lock those doors and watch out for racial slurs!
Saturday night I spent the night at my mom's in Camano Island and so today we went to the Marysville outlets and then to the Stanwood/Camano Fair. That means I got to pet some goats and sheep and chickens; I even saw new born baby chicks! I mean they'd JUST hatched out of those fucking eggs!! And then we ate buffalo for dinner and it was good.
Now I have work to "look forward to" tomorrow. To do list: find house. Investigate study abroad options. I need to get the fuck out of here for awhile.
