Daisy was brainstorming things for her student mentorees to do for her. So far, her idea was to have them stage manage a production . . . but that would require her organizing a production and ewwwwww.

And yes, brainstorming totally involved ordering flowers to be sent to herself tomorrow by a "secret admirer". Doesn't it for you?

Jake came knocking on Daisy's door around lunch time. "Miss Adair?"

Daisy looked up from her ordering. "Jake, right? Come on in."

[ooc: sorry, it ended up taking me 2 and a half hours to get home. . . .]

Jake walked inside. "Yeah, that's me. So, you're going to be my mentor, huh?"

(ooc: eeeeeew. *hugs* That sucks. I'm gonna crash in about an hour or so though.)

"Certainly looks that way. Now, what would you like to get out of a mentorship?"

[ooc: s'all good, at least they're touching base.]

Jake blinked at her. "I... don't know? Do you know anything about couriering? Or coffee?"

[actingreaper]

"I like to drink coffee," Daisy said. "But, no, on the courier thing. I could research it, though. Like I was researching a role."

[courier_gavin]

Jake brightened. "Maybe you could help me with that? Like, researching roles and stuff? 'Cause sometimes I'll have to be not-me to fit in..."

[actingreaper]

"Oh, definitely! I find that a lot of things can be solved with a little bit of acting. Why don't you come up with a situation where you would have to be in disguise in your line of work, and we'll figure out the best way to research it?"

[courier_gavin]

"I can do that!" Jake agreed. "Um, is next week okay?"

"Next week is just fine."
