hey guys! look im posting an entry! guess what!!! no one will comment!
o well, doesnt matter....
ive been having an AWESOME time at willoway this summer! im really gonna miss it, my last day was yesturday. the first group i was with was ok...the counselors werent very nice to me, they kept treating me as someone below themselves, which i tecniqally was, but they still dont have to treat me like it... my more recent group, i LOVE with passion! the counselors treat me like a counselor and not like a assistant, the kids are nicer, and its just soooooo much more fun! at the end of a session the counselors always give awards to the campers. i was on the overnight on thursday, so i didnt help the others make the awards. they made me one! i was/am soooooooo happy! it is the "best co" award and it has a picture of me sticking my tongue out and on the bottom it says "because you were much more then a C.A. <3 Kayla&Alida"! it was really really nice of them! a CA is a counselor assistant, by the way. what kinda pissed me off though is that the owner wanted to see me at the end of the day to talk about my performance, and she was saying how i was doing a pretty good job and then she said something like "there is a big step between camper and counselor, and you didnt quiet make it all the way up that step this year". im confussed. does that mean that i did a crappy job this year? or does it mean that because i was a CA, i havent reached that top level yet? w/e it shouldnt bother me i guess. joel, the guy who works a lot with the CAs, said that i shouldnt worry about it, because the owner hasnt been updated on the status of the CAs. ANYWAYS, im sad now, im gonna miss camp. i dont want to go to band camp. next year ill finally be a counselor. itll be fun, but i dont want this year to end...
