Final Reflection ~ Never Saw Blue

Mar 15, 2009 06:16

[The senshi house seems a bit more empty today. Little touches of things, tiny missing details. A stillness in the air. It's not a workday for Michiru, and just moments ago the softest sound of brush on canvas gave life to this open space.

It's not there anymore though. Nor, for that matter, are there familiar dresses in the upstairs closet, or a violin resting safe in it's case near the drawers on one side of the bedroom. There are no collections of cosmetics, no small box of tasteful jewelry.. half of the bedroom is empty.

The only sign left of the artist, musician, soldier, and lover is a painting of the ocean and the sky, the waves reaching upwards towards the clouds as the winds tease them. However, it's not a completed work. the depths and shadows are clearly unfinished, and the picture fades into simplicity towards one end of the canvas. And one brushstroke ends very abruptly, so much so that even an untrained eye could catch the flaw.

It's the only sign left to read in the emptiness]

[ooc: okay, so my winamp provided me with a song too, if anyone's interested in a little bit of heartbreaking :p Go find Hayley Westenra's 'Never Saw Blue' and listen to it ;_;  very very beautiful. or, go here if you don't want to search x3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PpR5FNFR9So ]
