Winter Wonderland
I started my day this morning by looking out the window at my hopefully spring day backsliding into a winter one. There was snow everywhere! The aforementioned snow didn't stop falling until right around 2:30 in the afternoon. My plans for a perfect spring picnic in the park are thus put on hold due to the wretched weather.
This quite damp setback can be endured. It's called boots and damn good sweater people. We will survive! And while we're busy surviving we'll be drinking hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps sitting by a fire (or covered with an electric blanket if like me you have no fireplace and are unwilling to light a fire in the bathroom a la Jim Carrey in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective).
MMMM.... yummy.
For those of you out there who don't drink alcohol (or legally can) just make sure to add extra whipped cream or marshmallows to make your drink sinfully delicious. A sprinkling of cinnamon couldn't hurt either *wink*.
This is one of my personal favorite activities in the wintertime. But enough about me, what about you? What is YOUR favorite indoor past time?
