Speak like a Pirate Day
Yarr! Seein' as it be Speak Like a Pirate Day, me journal post shall be in pirate-speak. I happen ter be a more respectable pirate, though, so I shall not be postin' usin' writer's choice terday. I is one o' dem creative pirate types, an' I happen ter be original 'nuff ter think of me own post.
It may be interestin' fer all ye readers out there (e'en though I doubt there be any), that I have created me own pirate character/personality. Her Christian name be Katharina Duquette, an' she be comin' from France. Seein' as she's from France, sometimes she be inclined ter speak a bit o' French an' her English pirate-speak be a bit more correct. Her pirate name be Rina Rackham (RACKem). She be a fearsome pirate, but not so interested in killin'. Rina be a cunning pirate, an' she steals ships an' other thing of value.
