Alive in the morning
Well, its the last few hours of break and then back to RIT! I'm really excited to go back, the break was pretty empty as I suspected. The first week no one could do anything because everyone was still in Finals, and the second week was recording with the band. We would start at noon, and end at 10pm. We did that pretty much everyday, it was intense. We finished our recording by the end of the third week. Oliver is currently mixing it all down, I'm really excited to hear how we play from a fully finished sound. I realised I have almost no friends at home who are women. It was a sausage fest, and that sucked. I went to a few parties, all were sober. Not saying I'm sad about not drinking, just was expecting it to come up atleast once.
Going back should be nice, I get to live with a large group of awesome people. I'm really excited to hear people's stories about break, and I'm also very happy to see Liz. Its 5:13am so I don't feel like going into too much detail. I'm working on another website layout, for shits mostly. This new one looks real nice, like the old one did in comparison. Its going to be a forever changing thing, its just fun to play with new layout ideas.
Oh yeah, over the three weeks I was supose to finish a fullsized self portrait, and I started on it on week three, and then near the end of the week lost my glasses in a forest playing airsoft. Well, the portrait looks good. I'm content, and none of my stuff is ever really "done" anyway. Mmm Opeth is playin... Opeth and Dark Tranquility are comming to the US, I'm really ready to rock out for that. Speaking of Rocking Out, this Saturday in Rochester, Sonata Arctica is playing. Nick and Oliver are going to drive out to RIT for the weekend to see them. So shenanigans shall ensue.
My body is very tired, I might get like an hour of sleep, then leave for RIT. I need to pack up my compy and then whatever else I forgot to do over the course of tonight.
I need a bagel.
