She came in after she left her stack of papers that needed editing for the prophet on the dining table. Ginny came behind him and pressed herself close to him, "How is he?" she asked him in regards of James.
"Hey," Harry said softly as he felt Ginny behind him, and turned around to look at her with a soft smile. He reached out to wrap his arms around her, and leaning down to nuzzle through Ginny's hair. "James is fine, but you should talk to him... tell him you don't mind," he added earnestly.
"Yes I will... did James mention he spoke to Percy? Did he tell you anything?" she asked as any concerned mother wouldthen bit her lower lip when her husband nuzzled her close.
"I just had the feeling that he thinks you don't accept him," Harry started, keeping his arms wrapped around Ginny's waist. "And he would have liked to have told you that he likes girls too," he continued, his voice soft. He knew that Ginny was worried, but that their children could feel it as overbearing sometimes.
Ginny gave a relieved sigh at this bit of news, so there was hope yet, thank heavens. "You think it safe to talk to him now? How did he seem when you left him? Should I give him some space? I wouldn't want to overbear him," she asked Harry in a rush of questions.
"Hey hey... one question at a time," Harry said with a small chuckle. "Give him some time, I think we've embarrassed him enough for one day," he said seriously, pulling out of the embrace to fill his mug with the boiling water and then putting a tea bag in it. "Talk to him tomorrow, give him some time to process everything."
Ginny nodded and sighed and leaned against the counter with her back her eyes looking at a pile of letters and owls where they normally kept the mail and saw that there was one addressed to her from when she just recently visited St. Mungos. Probably the results of her tests, she had been feeling ill as of late and thought it was just something that was floating around somewhere.Opening it without thought she read through the letter once, then twice then lowered it from her gaze and stood there silently as thousands of thoughts and questions raced in her mind.
"Harry..." she asked and paused again not turning to look at him just yet.
Letting the tea settle for a few minutes, Harry got the milk out of the fridge and filled the mug up with milk after throwing the tea bag away. Taking the mug in his two hands he took an appreciative sip, putting it back down on the counter he stretched his arms a little over his head and was just heading for the fridge as he heard Ginny's voice.
"What?" Harry asked, a frown appearing on his face as he saw Ginny staring down at a letter. "What's wrong?"
Her mouth felt dry and it was hard to swallow then a wash of overwhellming happiness when the tiniest of smiles lifted her lips she hugged the letter to her chest because she still could not believe the news; Ginny looked over her shoulder at Harry and the smile widened."Nothing's wrong," she said and she began to feel a warming glow in her chest, "but if you had to choose between pink and blue, what would you want?"
"Huh... I guess... Blue.. why?" Harry asked in confusion, crossing his arms over his chest and looking at his wife with a confused expression. He didn't understand how a letter was supposed to make him chose a color, but Ginny was smiling which was at least a good sign. "Are you going to explain me of what's going on?" he added after some minutes of thought, not really coming up with a reason for the weird question.
She giggled in a mysterious way then turned around and walked over to Harry and kisses his lips lightly, the letter somewhat crumpled in one hand, "I was thinking pink that way we'd be even," she bit her lower lip and looked into his deep greens eyes then looked down at the letter and held it up for him to read it.
Harry returned the kiss tenderly, still frowning at his wife. His frown deepened at her answer, and then slowly took the letter out of her hands. At first he was nervous as he saw St.Mungo's logo at the top, but then as he continued to read a grin spread over his face. He let the letter drop down in shock, and wrapped his arms tightly around Ginny's waist, leaning down to kiss her passionately. "We're getting another baby.." he whispered in awe as he finally pulled back from the kiss.
"Yes," she whispered the grin never once leaving her face even as he kissed her and she kissed him in return. Ginny's arms draped around his shoulders, holding onto Harry feeling the happiest she's ever been in these last few weeks, "I didn't think that we-- that we could even have--" she stopped and bites down a smile again too speechless to continue but, "Are you happy?"
"Of course I am happy," Harry said with a broad smile, leaning down to press another kiss against Ginny's lips and then reached out to let his hand rest against her stomach. "We're getting another baby..." he knew he was repeating himself, but right now he didn't really care. "Are you alright with this?" he asked in concern.
Ginny nodded, "Yes, yes I am so much." she pressed her forehead against his, tears of happiness welled in her eyes and silently fell down her cheeks, "I just never thought we could have children this late," she placed her hand over his own where he touched her belly, a trill of excitement shot up her spine.
"I never thought so too..." Harry mumbled with a small chuckle. He reached up with one hand to wipe away the tears that were running down Ginny's cheeks, while his mind tried to find the time when they had had unprotected sex. He then remembered that time at the Ministry and blushed. "May I tell everyone tomorrow?" he asked, sounding like a small boy suddenly.
