Knitting people!

Dec 08, 2009 13:24

Now that I live in a cold place, I find I am in need of:

1. Winter hat
2. Scarf

If someone were to volunteer to create such things for me, I could return the favor in COLD HARD CASH (or possibly check or paypal).

I'm a knitter! I'm in the middle of a project right now, but I could put it on hold to make a hat, that's pretty quick (I hate making scarves, so you'd probably need to find someone else to work on that for you). You should search the internet for knit hats and find pictures of ones you like so I can tell you if I'm willing to do it and how much I'd charge you (I'd probably charge a tiny bit more than materials cost to cover my time, but not much more).

I probably won't be able to knit until after I heal up from my surgery, which would be around New Year's - but I'd love to chip in a hat or a scarf; perhaps a backup one?

I could certainly use a backup hat. Here's a couple patterns I found that are in the ballpark of what I'm looking for (simple and warm):

But don't do it until your hand is healed! I wouldn't want Christina to find out I injured you.

I was just about to ask the same. Pennsylvania demands nice fuzzy warm socks. Lots of them. As does Ohio ;P

I bought some socks the other day from a Chilean weavers' co-op. Sorry.
