Wayward home

Well, I suppose I've found myself back in Colorado. I'm hesitant to whether it makes sense given how I feel to call this place 'home' or not. The flight went well. Didn't have to pay for overweight baggage, which was a plus; had a fun time treking about 65 kg worth of baggage through Paris and the metro. My hands are still a little raw and muscles still a bit sore.

Thus far, all of my planned surprises have worked out quite well. A few highlights include: coming out from around the corner on Erica, her yelling "What the fuck!?!", punching me in the face and then hugging me, I got punched about 5 more times that night, bringing me more joy; opening the door on my mum when she was in the middle of a nap and seeing her confusion/joy; and how Justin just exploded upon seeing me. Won't ever forget that.

Being back in the United States is weird. Notably being in public--the way people address one another, the tone and flux of spoken English, how spaced out everything is. That might be the strangest. It's going to take a while for me to get used to this.

I'm glad as all hell to see you; if I haven't yet done so, this should be remidied as soon as possible. Thank you. My number is still the same, I am only without transportation.

See you soon...
