A few fragmentary highlights of the last week:
-Getting in trouble at work this week because the big president of the school dude saw me 'yawn'. Apparently that's not chill on Monday mornings at 8. Who'd a thunk it?
-Having some guy tell me I could 'pay him back next week, he works on a credit system' when I tried to pay for a coat. Consequently, I went back to the market the next day and paid him. He spotted me out, told me that I would like the jacket and told me that the credit system worked.
-Dinner at my house. Particularly an amusing little interaction between my landlady, Lydia and my friend Lymma. Unforgettable.
-Biking with Ted and Joe on Sat. Sunshine, pouring rain, sunshine, pouring rain. Repeat. Repeat. Standing under the Zoo welcome Kiosk, waiting out the rain and Joe saying this to us in all seriousness: "I felt the worst in the early morning tomorrow." Fucking brilliant.
-Setting up a party warehouse, covering it with candles and eating some mean-ass Indian food while guests start to arrive. Already a little drunk on Whiskey.
-Going to Matthieu and Mathilde's party and getting a warm, cuddly welcome.
-Taking care of a demolished friend, continuing a conversation that was started back in November with a very important friend.
-Eating amazing birthday pastries as the sun is coming up and finishing off quite a bit of 'shit'. "This is an awesome birthday....Where's the ____?"
-Waking up after 4 hours of sleep, biking to Antoine's place in the banlieu, eating good food and drinking more whiskey on a Sunday afternoon. Chillin' so hard my ass almost froze off...
