Uh... How'd I get here?
No, wait, let's start with the important question. Where's this? I thought maybe that weird program of Yamaki-san's sent me to some corner of the Digital World again. But on second thoughts, probably not. It feels... different. No Packets floating around, no Data Streams - I can't even see the Real World from here. And you know, the thing about the Real World is that it's a huge shiny blue-green sphere in the sky. It shouldn't be that hard to find.
Plus, there are people. We never saw that many people in the Digital World, did we? Plenty of monsters, a lot of them trying to kill us, yeah, but not that many people.
So, not the Digital World. Then, where...?
Oh, right, that program. Yamaki-san and Jen's dad said they were trying to alter some of the Ark's old program, so they could send large numbers of people to the Digital World and back whenever they wanted to. Why? I don't think anyone except us would want to go there, and there's only about eight of us. Although, I guess it's nice that they're actually thinking about the idea and not just telling all of us to forget about ever seeing our friends again.
Well, that's the last time I'm being anyone's guinea pig. Next time, they can go and rope Jen into it instead.
I didn't think the program would do anything, so I didn't really stop to pack. What do I have on me right now? Let's see... a notepad, a couple of pencils, the goggles - ha, better start wearing those again - and a few cards. Oh, and the D-Arc. It's acting weird right now. Well, the compass is. When I took it out, it wasn't moving at all. Only normally that means Guilmon's nearby, and I know I would have noticed if he was...
Hey, does that mean... I could find him here somewhere? There's so many people around - surely at least one of them will know! And in the meantime, I can just stay in this place for a little while.
That's right! I gotta look ahead!
