missed a lot being gone for 18 hours.
I had so much fun at the lake. I love it out there. I read three books, played bingo &won [TWICE], watched fireworks, met loads of new people at said fireworks, &I think I like those new people.
Bingo was so much fun, didn't meet any people there because they were all older or younger than me. My parents &I won 8 times combined. Haha, luck?
We went back to the cottage &changed into pants so I wouldn't freeze. Drove into Lebanon spent about 15 minutes parking &went up to the green. [Which is enormous by the way, it's probably a mile &a half long. CRAZY.] We got the best cheeseburgers I've ever had &that was when I met people. Everyone was so nice &interested in where I was really from &the cottage too. The girls didn't seem as welcoming, but then again, what could I have expected. I was all up on their territory. Haha, it was so nice not to be involved in all of the day to day problem he said she said type of stuff. It was really fun, nice kids right there.
The fireworks were fun, espcially when the kids I was with started dancing &stuff.
My volunteering starts tomorrow. YES. I'm actually pretty excited. It should be cool, the people who are doing it with me are nice &funny. I like them.
