All thanks to my sweetie nrivkis!
The thing is, I had a 3-week window after arriving here in which to rest up for the upcoming marathon work schedule. One week of that is now gone, consumed by some socializing and a LOT of unpacking and a great deal of babytending (we are trying to teach her to sleep thru the night, it's a work in progress. The final week is largely booked with guests, visits, and Rosh Hashonah. So this week is IT. And as of yesterday evening, I was still running from pillar to post.
So, I handled it in my usual mature and sensible fashion: I had a small tizzy and basically went WAAHHH! at my wife. Who, much to her credit, immediately ordered me to take most of my chores back off my docket, take over night call duty on the baby, and otherwise REST. So I did. I slept most of the next 14 hours, and have spent an easy day since, and I think the edges of my nerves are beginning to grow back.
Aaaaaah.
