Important Notes: (Firstly, a heck of a lot of this is headcanon. A WHOLE lot of this is headcanon.)

• Born to circus acrobats, John - and his older sister Harriet - spent their high school years in California with their non-performing relatives while Johnny tried to figure out what he wanted to do with the rest of his life. (He ended up discovering that he wasn't a surfer.)
  
  
• Hasn't met his wife-to-be; in fact, he dated Marie Belmont (AKA Beast Boy's mom) for most of high school.
  
  
• Good friends with Rudy West, Roy Harper Sr., Mark Logan, Marie Logan (nee Belmont), Angela Roth, and Abel Weathers. He's connected to the parents of the Teen Titans - even if he doesn't realize it - and keeps in close contact with them even after high school & college.
  
  
• His best friend on the other hand... was Slade Wilson. It is a friendship that even mystifies Slade to this day.
  
  
• A college graduate from UC San Francisco; Johnny majored in Accounting & Finance with a minor in Anatomy & Physiology. He also has a MBA for reasons unknown even to him.
  
  
• Not very culturally connected to Romania. His parents tried with his middle name, but John just isn't very interested. It's a very far away place for him, and the stuff of his grandfather Aristotle's stories.
  
  
• However, he IS fluent in English and Romanian. He's also knowledgeable in Hungarian (his grandmother spoke it).
  
  
• Also highly skilled in circus acrobatics! Johnny's been raised in that environment until high school, so he also knows the ins-and-outs of the circus lifestyle... however, he's currently left Haly's Circus "to find himself" (whatever that means). His older sister Harriet permanently abandoned the circus lifestyle for a traditional upper middle class lifestyle in Gotham with her husband, so John moved with her after college to find a job... whatever that meant.
  
  
• Said job ended up being one of Bruce Wayne's financial advisers. (Even though Johnny's advice is less than sound, it's scarily accurate.) People speculate that Johnny's pretty much kept around as Bruce's eyes and ears while he's brooding and too busy to spend time with the wider world around him.
  
  
• Really likes 80's music. As in, he can quote Bon Jovi and Van Halen songs like no other. (Part of him's upset that he missed the 80's by one year. To a ridiculous extent.)
  
  
• Not involved in superheroics. He saw it once, decided it wasn't for him, and instead started to volunteer at local rec clubs. Figured it'd be easier to save the kids while he still could.
