you don't even know...

here's to the ladies who lunch...

everybody laugh...

things i'm currently excited for:
1. chicago for st. patricks day weekend. even if i go by myself, i WILL be going...
2. new york city in the spring/early summer (my favorite time to go really...although christmastime is fun too...well, honestly, i could go to that city any fricken time of the year...)
3. the 50th barrow jamboree in canada
4. the 50th barrow jamboree in barrow-in-furness (england)

now all i have to do to achieve going all these places is budget myself and hold on to my current position as stockroom manager until the end of may. an added bonus...i get a raise sometime this month.

in other news:

i watched v for vendetta for the first time last night and LOVED it. i had heard it was a good movie, but i didn't expect it to be that good. even with a shaved head natalie portman is hot. amazing. i had a tooth scare today at work. it flung off my lap and slid across the floor of the stockroom and i thought i lost it. luckily i trained my eye to look for it in the most random of places...shit like that has happened too many times to count...

school starts again next week. i'm indifferent. it's hard for me to care about it at the moment when i have so many amazing trips to look forward to.

i don't know if i should buy a playstation 3. i really want one. but i also really want a wii, and for fun value alone...the wii looks way cooler. HOWEVER, i did tell myself i was going to go on a budjet, and i still have christmas presents to pay off...so maybe i should just wait...we'll see i guess...

i'm on an orange juice kick lately. literally all i drink now is orange juice and water. no pop. i've been pop free (for the most part) since last april. which is awesome considering i used to drink on average about 4-5 cans a day.

i went to ikea with liz last saturday and we honestly spent four and a half hours in that place. everything in there is awesome and i wanted to buy it all. i spent 50 dollars and got all this awesome shit. INCLUDING a money plant, that only cost me three dollars. liz spent around 300 dollars...and got what i got times 10. ridiculous...we saw dreamgirls too. it was good. jennifer hudson was awesome. beyonce was pretty good (and that's saying a lot coming from someone who isn't really a HUGE fan of hers). the same goes for eddie murphy. if i can go to see a movie with him and beyonce in it, and leave the movie willing to see it for a second time, then the movie must be damn good because normally i would give them two thumbs down. it's not a movie for everyone, but it's good.

new years was pretty fun. i don't know why, but i don't expect that much from that holiday anymore. it's fun, but i guess people just build it up too much sometimes so i always am just sort of blah about it...one day i'll do new years eve in new york city...just to say i've done it...

my sister is graduating highschool this year and it's weird. at this rate we'll probably be graduating highschool and college together...lol...i'm a schmuck when it comes to getting my degree. it's not that i don't want to get it and be done with school altogether, i really honestly do. if i could go back 3 years i would not even have attended ccs and gone into stage design right from the get go, but noooooo, what do i do? i go back and forth on the subject of switching to that for 3 years and then decide that i finally want to commit myself to it for the rest of my life. good job adam. way to start over NOW. oh well, i'll still be young when i graduate, right?

i was watching 20/20 tonight and they were talking about people from our generation tend to marry when they're older and start that section of our lives at a much later age than our parents and grandparents did. the world was a completely different place though. i'm going to contribute for a cause...

alright, time to go read some more of my book, then crash. tomorrow i'm going to see children of men. and i'm excited cause it looks AWESOME.
