She looks so innocent in that picture. Why are you not going to tell her? Won't she find out somehow?

If she had not taken my blue & white striped socks, I would not mind. Those were my favorite. Will I ever get them back?

If my mum finds out a month from now, instead of tomorrow, hopefully the relief that we are still alive after not communicating for a month will cancel out any dissappointment.

Not her keeper, no, but you are her kin. It is also easier to blame you since I see you everyday.

I already told you I would buy you a belt for your birthday. You should buy me socks for your birthday as well, Christmas is just too far away.

If you cannot wait until then, surely there are people you could borrow one from. I would loan you one of mine but, well, it probably would not fit you.
