[The video turns on, apparently all by itself. Oz is balancing on the edge of the couch reading from a slim, dusty volume. The reason for this quickly becomes apparent... because the rest of the couch is strewn with stacks of books of all sizes. Yay successful library trip! After about a minute, he looks up. Blinks.]
Huh? Oh, it can do that by itself? Weird... Well, I'll remember to return all of the books, so no one needs to worry or anything! [Apparently unbothered by the video recording, he turns back to his book-- only to turn back to the communicator a moment later.]
Some of this stuff is really weird though... I don't really get it. Guess we just don't have a lot of poems like this back at home? Like, what does this mean? [He holds the book up, and reads aloud.]
Raising my hopes on hills of high desire,
Thinking to scale the heaven of her heart,
My slender means presumed too high a part;
Her thunder of disdain forced me to retire...
[ooc: YES THIS MEANS EXACTLY WHAT YOU THINK IT MEANS. Poem 28 by Samuel Daniel, from Delia~]
Huh, maybe--
[ A second or two later, sounds from the kitchen grew steadily louder until the unmistakable sound of a pan hitting the floor echoed throughout the apartment, followed by a body stumbling into view ]
Oz!
[ And said body will continue to stumble into the couch, and consequently fall to the floor ]
books!,
messing with the servant again,
gil gets innuendo,
it's not even deliberate,
oz does not get innuendo
