if you want another american made car.. buy a mazda 3 or 6, the new ones are made in america not japan anymore.

I'll go even further and suggest that, if you are going to buy an American car, don't buy a Mazda. I'd suggest a Saturn Ion, Chevy Cobalt.

Now's a good time to check out the new Toyota Yaris' as well.

i had to rent a chevy cobalt when i was waiting for my new car to arrive and it was a piece of ass. just forget american made vehicles. they dont last and they have bad gas mileage.. go german or japanese, always.

Not always true...Saturns don't fit your description of American cars.

I suggest Japanese OVER German as well. Repair bills are almost always cheaper and I hear about a lot more fluke Lemons in Bavarian cars than I do in Toyotas or Nissans.

Fuck Honda.

I have to disagree about Toyota not producing fluke lemons cause I have one. We had to replace the transmission in my camry not only once, but twice within the first five years of having it! Plus other countless break downs.

Actually the car belonged to my mom at this point. But we did make a lot of trips to and from Virginia which could be the cause of it, even though that shouldn't be an excuse for the transmission to break twice.

Where you driving it in the desert? Jeez.

Actually, the Camry is (I'm pretty sure) the only car in existence that's never had a manufacturer recall. Also, one of the most reliable cars ever. You really did get a major fluke lemon.

we have only bought german made vehicles in my family since well... forever.. no lemons and they all last well over 250k with no MAJOR repairs. i mean i think where ryan stands with what he's able to afford a japanese car is where its at. just make sure the "japanese" car you are buying is actually made in japan not america...

Right, but your family also buys expensive German cars.

And my Saturn went 268K with only expected repairs before I sold it 2 years ago. It's still running.

And I thought you were quitting Livejournal, just like you quit hanging out with everybody? It's bowling night. You oughtta come.

bowling night conflicts with my work. besides.. between meeting constantly with my rabbi to work to getting sleep in when i can. i have NO time. and your past behavior makes me want to do everything but hang out with you. sorry, but this jewtard wrangler has to set up her disabled sister's birthday party which is all kosher considering her friends are all jewish. some things are unforgivable and thats one.
