Depression is fine, to an extent. I understand that much. But when you resort to suicide, that's when it truly begins to infuriate me. To take one's life is one of the ultimate forms of selfishness in my eyes, and even as a child I have always highly disapproved of suicide.
Depression, in this case (And perhaps I should have elaborated more, but I was tired when I did this test and wanted shorter answers for everyone else), bothers me when an individual's sadness becomes the "woe is me, the world hates me" state. Mood's such as that can affect a larger group's emotions (ie; One companion in a close-knit group of five grows saddened and will either not allow themselves to be consoled or cannot, the rest of the group's mood fluctuates with this one and causes everyone else to be sad) and I hate that. I don't LOUDLY display my resentment, but the survey asked and I didn't feel like lying.
Besides, my best friend was once like that (One morning was perfectly fine, and that afternoon she called me telling me she was being admitted for suicidal acts..) and the experience with her made me feel so helpless, powerless, and as if I had failed her. She had earned my loyalty, and I felt as if I had betrayed her. Now I prefer to stop people from being like that to prevent other's pain. Pathetic, yes, but true.
Inquiry fulfilled, or should I detail farther? *Smile.*
