Last night we finished class and Fau asked me if I wanted to go to the Malthouse for a drink with some people, and I said that I thought it best if I just went home, made some nice dinner, had a bit of a cry and a soak in the bath. She managed to talk me into at least walking down with her, and then we walked off towards IGA and stood and talked about stupid me and my silly brainfucks. Yesterday I just got so frustrated with Pulse- getting depressed  becasue i was comparing what i was doing on the floor to other people, and then annoyed because I was letting myself be so egotistic. Fau was just...wonderful and shook me up and down and told me nice things and came with me to buy dark chocolate for me to gorge on when I got home.

When I got home I did cook myself a beautiful stir-fry. I have discovered the delights of delicious cooking. Kind of experimenting with things and then, generally, loving the result. That said, I made a very large, very mediocre batch of curry for lunches a few weeks ago. I had to eat it every day for a whole week at school. And then 2 weeks ago, a very large, very mediocre batch of risotto. It will be quite some time before I can even think about risotto, let alone look at it or eat it. Gross.

Last night I awoke sobbing, and then kept on waking up for the rest of the night. I had even just been saying that afternoon to people that I had awful night terrors when I first moved down here, but that they'd subsided recently. For the first month or so after school started this year, it was so bad- I'd often kick and yell and scream in my sleep- not so good for when you're sharing the bed! The annoying thing is that I can't control what's going to happen when I sleep.

...I actually can't really remember why I decided to update. Strange.

A month until I go back to Sydney. For some strange reasaon I have been incredibly home sick the last few days, but I think today it has lifted somewhat. This weekend Big Al's 21st is in Albury- so we're all hopping on a minibus and trekking over to the other side of the border. so at least i'll be in my home state...comforting, right? actually it's going to be a fabulous time- lots of drinking and what have you by the bonfire. Fun times will be had!
