little writing genre meme

Jul 30, 2010 04:24

In celebration of Opa being declared well, I have decided to do a meme.

1. Write down the names of 10 characters.
2. Write a fic of fifty words or less for every prompt, using the characters determined by the numbers. Do NOT read the prompts before you do step

1. James T Kirk (Star Trek)
2. Chris Pine (RPS)
3. Kris Allen (RPS)
4. Jeffrey Dean Morgan (RPS)
5. Leonard Bones McCoy (Star Trek)
6. Adam Lambert (RPS)
7. Jensen Ackles (RPS)
8. Jareth (Labyrinth)
9. Karl Urban (RPS)
10. Castiel (SPN)

First Time 4 and 6 (JDM/Adam Lambert)
There had been too much to drink, that much was certain. Jeff was at least 3 drinks in the wrong direction when he saw the too damn pretty boy across the room. He grinned lazily when he caught his eye.

Later when Jeff had him pressed up against a wall, lips hot against his throat and a leg between his thighs he thought maybe he was three drinks in the right direction for once.

Angst, 7 (Jensen)
Marriage was supposed to last forever. It was cliche and he damn well knew it, and yet Jensen hadn't been able to apply it to his own - even if he knew the success rate for these things in their profession.

He'd wanted forever.

The two years he got hardly seemed fair at the end. Not with the hole that it left.

AU, 1 and 8 (Kirk/Jareth) - HA
Jareth arched a smooth eyebrow at the man who had appeared in his throne room. This was unusual. Normally he had children sent to him, occasionally a teenager, this was the first adult who had been wished away to his kingdom.

"Where the hell am I?"

"Welcome, to the castle that lies beyond the goblin city." He smirked, he would enjoy this one.

Threesome, 3, 6, and 9 (Kris/Adam/Karl)
"Kiss him." Karl still wasn't sure how he'd gotten into this situation, but he was rolling with it. The other two men didn't seem to have the slightest problem doing just as he said.

The taller of the two pushed his hands into the others' hair and pulled him close pressing their lips together in a kiss that spoke of familiarity. Yes, this would end up being a very interesting night.

Hurt/Comfort, 5 and 10 (Bones/Castiel)
Sometimes the complexities of space travel hurt his brain. McCoy was a man who liked straight forward questions and answers, so when people started talking about space and time shifting around and folding so they some how slipped through a crack in time - well all he could do was mutter that he was a doctor not a physicist, and could someone use some smaller words.

What was straight forward was a man in his sickbay, well not exactly a man if the scanners were to be believed, but McCoy preferred thinking of him as a man, he certainly looked the part.

"You want a drink?" He asked later when he had him patched up and the man nodded, eyes wide taking in his surroundings for the first time.

"Thank you." And for some reason McCoy could see the thanks there for something more than just a drink.

Crack, 1 (Kirk)
When Spock had told him about a planet filled with women Kirk had jumped at the chance to go down first. Sure it was the science team's job to do that, scout out the territory and all that, but there were some things that James T. Kirk just did not resist.

Of course he'd missed the warning before he'd gone down not to let them touch him. There was a reason after all the entire planet was filled with women. And now Kirk had to deal with the consequences.

"For the last time, Bones, no, I am not going to start wearing a skirt!"

Horror, 10 (Castiel)
The end was coming, faster than they could truly prepare for. Castiel knew this, he could feel it down in the very fiber of his being. Lucifer was going to confront Michael, they were going to fight and the world would pay the price. And there wasn't anything they could do about it.

He was cut off, he needed more than the skills this human vessel afforded him. He felt fear here at the end, knowing he could not help Dean as he should.

Baby Fic, 5 and 9 (Bones/Karl) - Words cannot express how amused I am
McCoy was suspicious, looking at the other man who was far too familiar for comfort's sake and the child in his arms. Something was wrong here, but he wasn't sure what.

"Oh will you stop looking at me like that and come hold your son?" The other man flashed a grin at him, the accent the most jarring of the whole thing and yet there was something he knew there.

Dark, 2 and 8 (Chris/Jareth)
Darkness surrounded him and Chris wasn't sure he'd ever get out. How could he? There was some light, it filtered in through the grate over his head, but it was too high to reach, just out of his grasp. He wrapped his arms around his knees and sat in the light, hoping it would keep the darkness away.

Jareth watched in one of his crystals, balancing the sphere delicately on his fingertips as he took in the sight of the young man who had stumbled into his kingdom. He would break him first, and then have his fun.

Romance, 4 and 7 (JDM/Jensen) - Perfect
The flight was too long, his muscles ached and when he stood something popped unpleasantly. He was getting too old for this - not that he'd ever admit that. His schedule was hectic these days, but it was better than no jobs coming in. He grabbed his bag from the overhead bin and exited the plane.

Leaving the airport was always the best feeling, walking past all the gates, past the shops toward freedom, and then of course there was Jensen. Waiting for him with a ridiculous grin on his face by the luggage carousel.

"There you are."

"Here I am." Jeff agreed, and wound an arm easily around Jensen's waist pulling him close for a kiss.

"Let's get your bags and get out of here, I missed you."

Death Fic, 2 and 3 (Chris/Kris)
"They're gone, okay." Chris held the other man by his shoulders and gave him a little shake, trying to get him to snap out of it. "We have to keep going, we can't stay here. It's not safe."

No one ever saw the end of the world coming, not until it was too late. And now here they were, probably the only two people left in the world and Chris didn't even know the kids name.
