Summary : The Avengers and X-men are all students of Professor X school. Of course the two groups don't exactly get along very well.
A/N: Since the voting is finished, I can finally publish this. This is my first Avengers fic and it was written for avengers_land for challenge #7. The prompt was amnesty.
School rivalry.
“Wait for it…. Wait for it…” Tony Stark was hiding behind the wall of a corridor. He was checking behind the corner with his tablet PC through the video surveillance camera of the building that he had hacked into.
His best friend Steve Rogers was waiting for Tony’s signal. “Now!” he heard the order. With all his strength, Steve pushed a pile of school lockers.
Logan was just passing by when he saw the pile of school lockers heading his way. With a quick bounce he got his adamantium claws out and stabbed the lockers stopping their path. “Stark!” he growled “I know it was you!”
Tony got out of his hiding place followed by Steve. “Having troubles there, wolfman?” he smirked.
Logan was furious and tried to get his claw out of the lockers ready to hit the arrogant boy. “I’m so going to kill you!” But his claws were strangely stuck. He tried moving his arms, but all he could do was to lift the whole pile from the floor. “What did you do?”
“I might have covered the lockers with a special resistant glue I’ve created!” he laughed. “Have fun getting out of there!” The two young boys left him behind.
“You will pay for this!”
The day after it was time for the classic basketball game at the Xavier’s School for gifted youngsters . The teams were already made. Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Clint Barton, Natasha Romanoff and Bruce Banner in one team and Logan, Scott Summers, Jean Grey, Ororo Munroe and Marie in the other team.
“I see the caveman got free” Stark exclaimed grinning.
“You’re going to pay for what you did” Logan replied back. “You are nothing without your robot toy, Stark!”
Dr. Hank McCoy had the unfortunate task of refereeing the game. “All of you, I want a fair game without incidences.”
The game started, Logan and Tony were quickly going for the ball. After five minutes, everything was out of control and everyone was using their powers to cheat in the game.
Suddenly, Bruce Banner got angry after Scott nearly hit him with the energy blasts coming from his eyes. His eyes turned yellow , his body turned green and he transformed in a giant. With a big row he started destroying the gym.
“This is your fault!” Tony shouted to Logan.
“You started it!” Wolverine tackled him to the floor.
Everyone started fighting and no one noticed a wheelchair coming through the doors.
“That’s the enough!” Professor Xavier shouted telepathically in their heads. Everyone kneeled down in pain.
Xavier went near Stark and Logan. “You two, come with me!”
The two boys followed the Professor into his office.
“I want this rivalry between these two gangs to end. What do you call yourselves? The Avengers?”
Tony Stark nodded.
“And you? The X-Men?”
Logan grumbled in agreement.
“Well, I don’t want students fighting in my school. Let’s agree for an amnesty” he said not leaving them any other choice.
The boys nodded and left the office.
“This is not over” Stark whispered to Wolverine.
“I will see you after school”
Then they saw a new student coming down the corridor. He was tall, strong with long blond hair. In his hand he was easily juggling what seemed an heavy hammer.
They both looked at each other.
“He will be in my group” Tony started running towards him.
“No way!” Logan followed him.
