(no subject)
Still waiting on my scanner to arrive... I was originally told it should've been here by Monday, and now they're saying it should've come today, but maybe tomorrow? I don't know. If it's not here by Friday I'm calling them and asking for a refund or something. I was in the store and bought it almost a week ago. If they're just mailing it from Bowling Green, it would only take a day in the mail to get here. I should have just had them put it on hold and I would've driven down there myself to buy it. If only I had known it would be taking this long...
My practicum is going okay... Today I came home during my lunch and realized how sick I'm getting of that place. I'm there ALL THE TIME. I know I can always ask to have my practicum hours cut back, but I'm dead set on finishing within four weeks. Even tomorrow, I asked for the day off from it because my mom is having surgery and I have to drive her there and back, but I still have to go in to the shelter for a staff meeting for my job there. So that SUCKS.
I hate being sick. I have medicine, but as soon as I stop taking it I start coughing again. I think my doc's a quack. Maybe I need to ask to see her medical degree??? :) All I know is I've been to the doctor four times in the past three years, and it's all been within the past two months. I've lost about 20-25 pounds in the past three months and I'm constantly feeling like crap. I think, if anything, I'm going to at least see a different doctor the next time I need an appointment. But hopefully I won't need another one.
