Well the weekend was pretty crazy, as I had some horrible kind of tummy sickness. After the Monday I took off, I was much better on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. But then on Friday, I woke up at 7am violently ill. So Mark dragged me back to Dr. Jacobs AKA Dieter for another checkup. He thought it was peculiar that I was ill again after having been better for three days. Plus I was taking the medication he perscribed me. It may have had something to do with these horrible hot dogs that Mark and I ate on Thursday, but either way he wanted to do tests. So I had to get a needle, which was terrifying as usual. And I only had a little bit of time to get to the bathroom after the needle before I threw up again.
Anyways we're waiting on the results. So here I am at work. I feel about 90%, but I'm way behind on my hours, so I have to work a lot this week. I'm waiting for Mark to call me back about what we're going to do for dinner this week. I suggested Delicious Vegetarian, but Mark isn't really feeling like it, so I figured he could deliberate for a while, while I updated my live journal. It's nice at the end of the day, because all of my work is done, and my boss has gone home, so it's relaxing. Maybe tomorrow I can finally get some of Judy's filing done. Man.
Here are some really good comebacks I learned today for mean salespeople. And by the way, I'm boycotting Stitches at Kildonan Place because they are really mean there.
- looking genuinely concerned : "Are you alright? It seems like something's wrong/ Having a bad day?"
- "Should I take this personally, or are you like this to everyone?"
I'm sad about Phil right now. I hope I can get my mind off of it. I miss him so much. Life is short guys. Love it.
