today was my first day off in over a week. i decided to spend my evening diving into some literature at the Borders on sunrise (as if i would go anywhere else). while i was sitting and reading, a man & woman sat down at the table accross from mine. they were from new york. accents so strong i could barely stop myself from evesdropping. the man seemed pretty tough looking. i wouldn't have messed with him. he looks like he could handle two or three street-toughs all on his own. he told his ladyfriend to make sure that she got him a hot cup of coffee. "make sure it's really hot. i hate that cold coffee shit. cold coffee is for sissies"
and so there i sat, reading and evesdropping...sipping on Borders' version of a coffee coolatta.

i hope i don't meet to many tough guys like him in brooklyn.
i'll have to get greggory to protect me with his knee and elbow pads.
i work 8-5 tomorrow.

skating is tomorrow night
and so is the heat game.
