A Walk to Remember
It is official. "A Walk to Remember" is by far my favorite movie of all time. I absolutely love it. I think it's because Jamie is a lot like me except for the fact that I don't have leukemia. I really hope that one day I will meet a guy like Landon. He respects Jamie and loves her more than anyone could ever know. You are probably wondering why I am telling you about this movie (even though you have probabaly seen it 100 times or more) and thinking that I'm weird for applying the characters to my life. That's ok though. Basically, I admire the character Jamie because she always had faith in God. She knew that God had control over everything and she didn't have to worry. Sometimes we are just the opposite. She also didn't care about what people thought of her. She was never afraid to share her faith or show that she's a Christian. That's why I like this movie so much.
My dad had surgery on his foot yesterday and I'm over at his house taking care of him. We are using walkie-talkies so if he needs me, he'll just tell me what he needs and I'll bring it to him. So often, our relationship with God is like that. We only call on him when we want something, but we never really take the time and thank him for it. I really am thankful for all that I have because I have been blessed with so much. I honestly can't thank God enough.
