I mostly love how offended I get whenever someone calls the movie pretentious. It's so funny because like...I don't know. I can only name one film that I would call pretentious (and I refuse to mention it in public because this is not only one of those films everyone else seems to like, but it is also one of those films that everyone likes so much that if I mentioned it all I would be able to do is run away for fear of the lynching to follow). People call movies pretentious when you have to think about them, but I sometimes fear people call movies pretentious when it's so obvious what the hell they're talking about that it's ridiculous they pretend you have to think about them (which is mostly my problem with that one movie I mentioned before). However, having seen this movie myself...I can say that it was definitely not overly-obvious what was going on all the time.
I don't know, though. It was really very much a sort of fairy tale and I was glad to see someone call it such. I say this greatly because of the way the first (chronologically) quest ends.
No no, it's not my fear of being mobbed right in this post that stops me from naming it, it's my fear of what will happen when you find out what it is.

But anyway.
