That's perfectly fine. This tutorial was meant to inspire, not to be copied. I'd love to see what you made, though. :)

You have to do different things with the Color Balance tool for each icon. I tried making one following the same tutorial that I just wrote and it looked horrible, all green and blue and nasty. I managed to get it to this, though:

Thanks for the tip. I just tried it again with diffrent pictures and it came out just like you said. Blue and green and nasty.lol. So I'llm ess around with the color balance.

Haha, no problem. You just have to tweak it to see what looks good.
