The Academy Is... Delightful.
Lizz and I went to the AP Fall Ball to see The Academy Is... It was the 7th time for me, and the 4th time for her. We even wore dresses! We had meet and greet with them, 3rd time for me, and 2nd for her. I feel like we've... grown past the meet and greet, but I am most definitely still going to be seeing them in concert many more times.
The meet and greet was suppose to be at 5, and we were in a big hurry to get to the venue because we left a half hour late. We ended up getting there at about 4:50. We hurried to the building, and it turns out they weren't even handing out wristbands until 5:30. Great. We met up with other people with meet and greet, and hung around them. At about 5:40, we were finally given wrist bands and led to the merch area. They let us buy merch, which was nice. Then the guys came to the merch area and we talked to them there. It was pretty awkward, with only 11 of us. Lizz and I only got a chance to talk to William, Mike and The Butcher. Sisky and Chiz were on the other side of the group of people, and we didn't get past them fast enough. The meet and greet was only about 10 minutes long. Then we got early entry, and we rushed to the barrier.
We stood at the barrier for an hour, then Lizz had to leave because she can't stand for long periods of time. You Me At Six came on. I thought they were pretty good, and a lot of fun. After that was The Secret Handshake. They were also good and fun. They did seem to overuse the auto-tune though. After this, the pushing got a little rough, but it wasn't actually that bad. Mayday Parade came on. Lots more pushing. They were fun.
TAI... seemed to take about an hour to set up, it seriously dragged on. This was such a fun show! Even though the set list was shorter than on headlining tours, it was still awesome. They played 3 songs from Almost Here, 3 from Santi, 3 from Fast Times, and 2 from the new EP, Lost in Pacific Time. A nice even balance. The only thing that could have made it better would have been if The Author had won the song contest (Seed won). Seed was great, but The Author would have made my life. :(
I ended up leaving with 3 guitar picks, the new ep, and a TAI bracelet. All in all, a very good show.

I would like to know how my knees got bruised like that...
So the first 50 seconds, it's sideways. Then I put it upright, and the lights made the picture really crappy. The sound is decent though. :)
