Salmon Creek hike

Oct 14, 2007 05:34

Went up to Salmon Creek with Chris and Noelle. Noelle and I realized we were no match for Schizatch's hiking prowess, we were feeling pretty done in while he was still hopping along joyously. Beautiful day for it, partly cloudy/foggy and a good temperature. We got further up than the last time I went up there with Chris, maybe a bit more than a mile, not sure. Unfortunately, Noelle's knee acted up and we had to turn back a little early and skip the waterfall.

We left, went through San Simeon, saw that Sebastian's has apparently closed down, stopped by the pier... and found another Blue Star Highway sign. Intriguing. Taunting. Then we returned to Cambria looking for tea, found the bean closing (Grace told us it was her last day and kicked us out), then went to JBJ's. Noelle got her tea and a salad, Chris and I both had Nibblers. Delicious. We decided we need to make this a more regular thing. Then I returned home, fell asleep a while, then had another dinner.

A really enjoyable afternoon, it was so nice to spend time with them, made me feel a lot better.
