The turtle doves
Finals get underway today. I've been studying for them, but truth be told, I wish I had just a LITTLE more time to get prepared. But then again, the one I have today isn't until after 1. So I have some time.
Last night I got called into work. Now anyone who has known me for more than 5 years knows that getting called in USED to be one of the worst things ever. But, with hours at Meijer being cut short for everyone (the corporate suits are trying to save money at my store to prepare for the impending invasion of Wal-Mart), it was the freshest breath of air I ever had. I was actually EXCITED to work extra hours. I worked in the toy department, assisting in topstock and straightening. Usually I work in the Pet/Garden/Trim-A-Tree (Christmas) department, but I've also had a stint in HBC (Health and Beauty Care). I do get around, don't I? LOL
In other news, IGN has a news story on xbox360.ign.com that Best Buy is getting a second shipment of 360's on December 18th, the day after Christmas Clash. So to any gamers that read my journal and are not wrestling at the Clash, prep your tents. Me, I'm getting mine online. Makes it easier in my opinion.
And finally, on the MWO website my brother posted the usual "What can we expect at (insert supercard here)?" post. One of the wrestlers said something about us giving him lunch money, and I laughed a little bit, so I responded "in character". No dissing intended, just thought the fans and the boys in the back would get a kick out of it.
