I’m at my cousin’s place in Alhambra right now. So glad to finally get off that flight and get started on my AP Psychology homework. At long last, a stable internet connection and video games to play!
My flight wasn’t all that bad. For some reason, there were a lot of my orthodox brethren (Orthodox Jews) on my flight. Jet Blue is amazing. They got screens in front of you, on the back of the person’s headrest, with Direct TV channels. I couldn’t open up my laptop because it would have taken up the entre space of my table and no stable internet connection, so I put my headphones in the headphone jack and watched the National Geographic channel while annotating tout of the shit out of the Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams (IB World Lit homework). I love that book so damn much. It brings out the inner Richard III in me, I love it.
Before turning to the National Geographic channel, I turned the screen to CNN, got bored, and then turned it to the History Channel. I tried to sit through their show about Isaac Newton and his lost mathematical papers about the Bible or whatever, but it held my attention for about 30 seconds. The National Geographic channel was airing their prison-related shows and premiering their new show ‘BREAKOUT’, which was about successful prison escapes (that is until the people got caught again and send back to the prison they just escaped from). It was made by the same people who make the LOCKED UP ABROAD series, which my Law teacher used to show ALL THE TIME last year.
……… Cleaning ladies are cleaning my cousin’s room, so I had to pause Bioshock for the moment…
I think they’re done now…
