Generic topic + Generic phrases + depressing feel = Good LJ post ?
Nobody is ever happy. It is a fact. People might appear happy or say they are happy.. hell they might even actually believe they are happy at that moment. But when things calm down or set in nobody is really happy. The grass is always greener, change is always thought about and decisions are always questioned. Fat people want to be skinny, skinny people want to be fat(er), single people want a relationship, couples want the freedom of being single, etc. etc.
Happiness is debatably everybodies goal, or at least it should be, yet it seems like we get side tracked along the way. Money, food, sex, love, family, friends, drugs. All of these things typically bring both happy and sadness. What goes up must come down, what goes down stays down right?
The sad thing is nobody has any clue about what they want in life. Nobody. Well maybe thats not such a sad thing at all... I would certainly feel better if I knew everybody else had no idea what they wanted. That would make my life make a lot more sense. If I had a nickel for every time I "freaked out" in my head about the realities of life I would be a millionaire.... If I had a nickel for every time I realized I was just "freaking out" about the realities of life.. well I guess I would be a multi-millionaire.
