Marita's life is moving slowly to a close. Her breathing became very difficult this morning. This afternoon she slipped into unconsciousness. Justine, Juliette and Robin are spending the night in the Hospice to ensure she is comfortable. Diana arrived this afternoon from Ballarat. We are all supporting Marita as best we can with love and music. Live music drifting through the Hospice has been a comfort to all.
The number of cards, emails, livejournal postings, messages, phone calls offers of help and brief visits have been overwhelming. It is such a tragedy that we cannot give you greater hope. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated by us all and especially Marita. We have read all messages to her.
