C and I spent most of our day with M today. She was lively and in good spirits; we took a stroll around the east wing of the hospital building to a little garden courtyard.
However, M hasn't eaten a full meal for several days. Today's CT scan suggested that her stomach and bowel are partially obstructed by tumours. Although less invasive measures are being attempted to make her more comfortable, it seems that some surgery will be necessary to get her able to eat again. Today's scheduled chemotherapy was put on hold until that's dealt with.
