Other than being sick* recently I've been thinking a lot about art direction. Mostly in regards to photoshoots, but also just things in general. I shot the last of the seven deadly sins last weekend (still unedited) and my mind has been working overdrive trying to think about what new project I'm going to start up in the fall.
I think I've mostly decided that I want to have one big overarching project, and then also do one-off shoots that are just fun and silly. I would like the overarching project to have some sort of political/social impact, though. I've been thinking maybe playing with this idea we always see of people holding signs that say their thoughts on a political movement. Anyone have an idea? Or a thing they think really needs to be said?
Anyway, in addition to thinking about this, I also spent last night watching Eurovision entries** so now I've been looking at a ton of music videos, and guess what? I'm going to link spam you with them today. Technically the theme is Music, Art and Writing:

** You should take a look into at least some of them because they are fun and silly and sometimes really good and sometimes terrible. It's also a great exercise in how countries want to package themselves, and also standards of beauty. Very interesting...
