I love my Modern Popular Music class. It's so interesting. We haven't discussed music that I am firmly familiar with but still, it's so cool to learn about how music has evolved in our country over the past 50 years. The class is at 8:00 and I actually want to pay attention that early. We also get to listen to the songs we are discussing in class so as to gain a better understanding. How amazing is that? A class that you get to listen to and talk about music? And it counts as a credit that I need to graduate.
Anyway, there's this boy that I keep seeing around campus. I saw him today actually on the way back from class. I think I may have spoken to him once in the elevator but I cannot remeber if it was him or not. But I like to think it's him because we had one of the most random conversations ever. I was just standing there drinking my Zia Juice (similar to Jamba Juice) and he just kept staring at me. Eventually he asked "Is that a smoothie?" And I replied "Yeah... do you want some?" He laughed and then asked "Where did you get it?" "Zia Juice..." "Where's that?" "In the Union." "Really? I want a smoothie." And then he got off on his floor. So strange. But anyway, I see him everywhere and he's very cute. I ran into him at the football game on Saturday and he had full body paint on haha. Besides that (possible) conversation in the elevator, I haven't ever talked to him. Yet we constantly make eye contact whenever we cross paths. Eventually I will gather up the courage to smile at him, and maybe, maybe say hi.
So I am now going to go back to sleep for a few hours and then have lunch with my friend Jenni. After that I will force myself to attend my retarted math class. Goodnight.
