[ Sasuke answers considerably calmer, at least he's not screaming anymore, but he still looks shaken, and pale. ]

...I didn't want anyone to see that.

No one ever means for these things to be seen, Sasuke. It's not your fault.

[ Sasuke closes his eyes and takes a few deep breaths. It's been awhile since he's seen Haseo, at least as a teenager, and he's glad to see the silver-haired teen. ]

...[ And while he knows Haseo knows this next bit of information he needs to get it off his chest to someone. ] Itachi's been taking care of me.

..Yeah. I know. [ he nods slowly. ]
I figured that, at least, was a good thing. You needed something familiar, being so young and all.

[ to try and lighten it up, he cracks a small smirk ]
You were a pretty cute kid.

[ It doesn't work this time Haseo, besides he knows this already. ]

He was being nice to me...he still is.

[ He closes his eyes and puts a hand on his forehead as a pressure starts to build up there. ]

I don't understand why he'd care so much. He makes it sound as if I should trust him. [ Certainly that dream didn't help matters. ]

I don't really know what angle he's playing with you either. But..I don't think he's going to do anything to you here. [ a slight nod ]

But..I guess experience tells me that--you should be careful. Just--I know guys like that---they're tricky.

[ Sasuke's frown deepened. The last night he had spent with his brother replayed itself in his head as did the words they both had shared with one another. It hurt on so many levels to have lived that over again, the love and then the remembrance of the betrayal all in one. Yet a part of him wanted to believe the words Itachi had said despite what he had done. ]
