[ D was about to flip through this--but suddenly... well. it looked like another arrival post, which would have been normally ignored. However... ]

[ the boy on the screen had a familiar weapon jutting out of him. Needles. Sharp, jutting needles that D himself used in combat. He saw how they have been skillfully implanted into the boy... but... was it just a coincidence the owner had missed all the vitals? and what was a child doing with such a large number of injuries? ]

[ D found himself heading to the fountain. not like he had anything better to do, really. if it hadn't been for the needles... he would have passed him by, injury and all. but he supposed now that he was a part of the police force, he couldn;t do that. ]

[ when he reached it and spotted the youth, D paused a bit away from him. ]

[ Sasuke's eyes instantly snapped up to the felt presence of another individual. His eyes narrowed at the taller man and his hand instantly went to one of the kunai in his holder. He wrapped nimble fingers around the hilt and spun it out and held it at the ready.

He made a mental note of his body. It seemed he'd be able to get up albeit painfully. ]

You shouldn't move, considering your injuries. [ he didn't answer his question, instead keeping his distance, and still, staring down at the much shorter individual ]

[ there was a good amount of silence, before he spoke. he supposed if he wanted to get the kid to relax before he bled out, now would be the time to act. ]

[ Haku's needles hadn't been that inaccurate. There was actually very little chance Sasuke would bleed out at all. Though truth be told the ninja's accuracy was probably so great it really would have been impossible to tell. After all Kakashi hadn't even noticed that Zabuza wasn't dead until it was too late. ]

[ Sasuke grit his teeth in annoyance at that statement. He had no idea what this person's abilities were so while he may have stood a chance a good ninja knew not to run in blind. If only he could teach Naruto that. ]

[ D watched as Sasuke lowered the kunai, the hunter keeping his gaze on the young boy. Good. that was better, certainly. ]

[ the hunter was, luckily, not all decked out in his hunters garb, instead wearing the usual Victorian-era threads he usually donned while put and about. especially, sicne Takuma had told him his hunters attire was.... well. scary. ]

[ D walked over to Sasuke, not really caring if the boy put his guard up again or not. his lavender eyes were sweeping im as he descended upon the shinobi, and taking care not to brush against any of the needles, D scooped him up. ]

[ bridal style. ]

[ Sasuke let out an exclamation of surprise as he suddenly found himself lifted into the air, bridal style no less. He turned a glaring face up to the violet eyed man. ]

Put me down I can walk just fine.

[ At least he hoped he could. Hell if he'd been able to dash in front of Naruto....but he'd had far fewer needles in him then. ]

[ and so he stared walking. In actuality, D figured he didn't really need a hospital. the needles Sasuke had lodged in him were his own kind of weapons. their removal would be simple, if he had some help. Takuma would be home, luckily. ]

[ Sasuke looked but he didn't appreciate being carried off to places unknown. He placed a hand on D's shoulder and made to flip himself out of the other's arms. Like hell he was going to just go where some strange man wanted him law enforcement or not. ]
