So I'm going to a week-long Character Design art camp at the
Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design over the summer and trying to orchestrate how it's going to be paid for is just maddening, sometimes. I hate having to try and get my two sets of parents to stop bitching about each other long enough to work something out. Can't we all be adults about this? It's not the fact that I have to pretty much pay for all of it myself, just the fact that each side likes to tell me how the other side is manipulating me, then they accuse me of being wishy-washy because after talking to the other side, I come up with new ideas or perspectives and apparently that's bad. Or something.
Eh. It'll be worth it in the end, though. It'd better be.
We're moving soon. Our new house is crazylove. My room is orange, yellow and blue and I love it. So I shall be throwing a giganto birthday party this year and you are all pretty much invited.
WHAT SHOULD THE COSTUME THEME BE?
or should it just be generic, whatever-you-want?
la la la
Finals are a bitch but OH WELL I'M ALMOST A SENIOR SO I DON'T CARE.
It seems like I'm becoming better friends with a lot of people right as school's about to get out. What the hell is up with that? Oh well, next year! I'm really sad that so many of the people I really liked were seniors. It's just not going to be the same without them. 40 seniors were involved in drama-- that's A LOT. It's going to be so empty without them all...
Argh, I don't think I'm ready for life. I'm not really that much younger than everyone else (turning 17 on Sept. 6, you judge for yourself) but it seems like I'm years behind being independent and self-motivated and... I don't know. I feel like a little kid playing dress-up half the time.
On a happier note, Alex has sent me a bunch of clips from A Hard Day's Night and they are amusing me muchly. Can I just say that George and Ringo are the best, ever? EVER?!
AN ORGY?!?! can i come? no, you're too old! give us our ball back, mister! give us a kiss! Brittania!!!
Oh yes. We must rent that. And soon.
I'm jonesing for Austin City Limits and I'm at my Dad's this weekend. Argh.
PS. ALEX. WILL YOU WRITE 'FAST EDDIE wtf!!?!' OR SOMETHING SIMILAR ON THIS ICON FOR ME PLEASE???
PSS. I messaged Michael Kasparis on Myspace and told him I had a dream about him. Ha! Ha! Ha! I'll let you know what he says. If he's half as cool as Stan from the Amphetameanies was, then it will be time well spent. Or he'll just think I'm fucking mental, either way.
