Hah hah, aaaah Canada. Where in Canada do you want to go? Are you just a Canada fan? I live less than an hour from the border so I guess I just really use to going back and forth.

College is a little different for everyone and really it depends on where you go. If you go to a smaller college it can be a lot like high school but there's some general huge differences. Unless you go to some new-agey high school your classes will instead work like this-- most you won't have every day, they'll be Mon-Wed-sometimes Fri or Tues-Thurs. But it depends on the college and number of credits the class is. I never lived at home but a lot of my friends have and they've told me that (I don't mean to depress you) it makes them feel like they're still in high school to a certain degree. You meet a lot more people when you're living on campus and when you're there all the time. Living at home can make you feel less connected to everything just because you'll only go there for class and then leave. But really it just means if you want to meet people you have to talk up in class, join clubs, ect. just be more involved in some way.

All colleges have different requirements for their different programs. At my college at least, you have to have a certain distribution of your credits. So you might not have to take math specifically but some other class like soc or something. But some colleges will require you to take basic math if you don't test out of it. Most colleges have department websites or course booklets where you can check major requirements.

Personally, I love college. You have a lot more freedom in what you study and it can make a huge difference when you're actually interested in what you get to do. Classes are really laid back, you can skip if you want no questions asked... really college just means a lot of freedom to do what you want. It's super nice. I graduate next fall, it's gonna suck going into the real world!

That kid in your english class is a huge winner, just saying.

..this was a long reply.

I just want to go to a different country and see what it's like. I've been all over the US, but I've never been to another country...and Canada seems cool! [:

That was really, really helpful. Like, really. <3 Thanks so much! I love long replies! [:
