Nesting.

That's what the women in my family do in times of anxiety. Which, hey...anxious here.

There's the wedding. There's Aly's show starting up soon, (You all are going to watch "How I Met Your Mother", right? RIGHT? Don't make me get rough.) there's the fact I'm not doing much int he way of working. I don't seem to know from one week to ( Read more... )

As if I could, or would turn down cookies!! First thing you should know about me, cooking anything that doesn't simply involve heating in a microwave is pretty much no longer allowed. I failed home ec as a kid.

Ah, sweetie. Since I'm not working lately, I'll cook you some meals that you just have to pop into a microwave and heat up.

Momma made sure I could cook when she thought I was gonna hook a good rich husband.

Aww! You're the sweetest!! Really, this is the only way I get anything to eat that isn't frozen from a grocery store or brought home in aluminum or cardboard containers on my way home.

Momma tried to make me a good housewife, but I have absoultely NO wife material in my system at all.

I just hope you like southern cooking. Is there anything in particular you or Brad don't eat?

No, I think we'll eat pretty much anything. Especially since his diet consists of the same things mine does most of the time because we're too lazy to get seperate food. He cooks sometimes. I'm no longer allowed to.

Southern cooking is to die for. I may just buy a whole new freezer to keep stocked up. :)

Hee. You two are hereby officially invited to a cookout at the Hannigan/Acker house. We'll make Brad play big strong guy and drag the grill out, and then I'll cook for everybody.

I'll make some potato salad, too.

That made me squeal a little. Don't let Brad fool you, either, he loves playing "big strong man," he just won't admit it. After dragging him to my sister's for my neice's birthday party, I at least know I he can be trusted to be taken out in public. :D

We really must! I'm excited now.

I'll hit the grocery store today. Let's see...I'm thinking steaks and chicken, maybe?

You know Brad'll love the attention of being the only man among the three of us. If he's really well-behaved, we'll even let him hold Jacky if he wants.
